Staffordshire Moorlands Community Hockey Coach

3-year fixed term contract - 11½ hours per week: £8.20 per hour  

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a part-time Community Hockey Coach in the Staffordshire Moorlands. Match funding from the Sport England lead Community Sports Coaching Scheme, has enabled Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, Leek Hockey Club and partners to fund a project to develop junior hockey in the Leek area.

Managed by the Sports Development Service at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, the successful candidate will work closely with the Leek Hockey Club, Staffordshire Moorlands School Sport Partnership and local community groups, to develop and increase participation of hockey in the Moorlands.

Applicants will be required to have the experience in working with Children and young people, delivering development plans, possess England Hockey Level 2 coaching qualification, scUK Good Practice and Child Protection Certificate and hold a driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
