Description


    -Rally until a mistake is made by the baseliner.
    -Baseliners swap out on mistakes.
    -Volley player swaps after 2-3 minutes.

Coaching Points

  • With less advanced players this can be used as a basic drill to work on volleys and ground strokes.
  • With more advanced players the baseliner can deliberately be put under pressure by the volleyer.
  • Encourage baseliners to maintain a low stance for better movement and balance.
  • Remind net player to keep the racket head up and contact in front. Discourage any swinging back.
