Description

Coach hits a variety of shots including :-

  • Top Spin
  • Slice
  • Lob
  • Drives
  • The player has to say aloud which shot it will be as soon as they see it, which could be before the ball is struck.

Coaching Points

  • The coach needs to exaggarate the shape of the shot so that the player can try and read whats coming before the coach hits out.
  • With less advanced players, coach can start with stationary feeds in exaggarated positions.
  • Players need to tell from the body shape of coach and the ball contact which type of shot is likely to be hit.
